For the children caught in the middle, war is a different story

“Many parents are worried for the future of their children as they have been unable to go to school for the past 3 years," says OD local partner Aung*.

"Food and shelter are the immediate need for the believers, however, when we look into the future for the believers, help related to education and entrepreneurship would be sustainable and helpful for them.”

There are many children who fled with their families . They left more than their homes, they left their education.

They had to stop schooling and any access to study materials and books are now very difficult as they settle in remote areas.

Through your support, OD partners have distributed books and stationary items, so that they can continue learning even as they are hard pressed by their circumstances.

The children were happy to receive the books and study materials. They started learning to write and read the English alphabet using the study materials.

It is our field partners' hope that the children would be able to read and write and very importantly they will be able to read the Bible on their own and know Lord.
